A lock without a key. An opening whose purpose remains uncertain.
Its uneven surfaces and irregular contours seem to resist the idea of a perfect fit. Nothing quite aligns, yet the opening remains. Waiting, perhaps, for something that has not yet appeared.
On either side, two feminine figures emerge from the metal, their silhouettes recalling creatures from another world. They seem to hold something, or perhaps to guard it. Whether they possess the missing key or merely suggest its existence remains unclear.
Perhaps the key belongs to another object. Perhaps the lock was never meant to be opened. Somewhere within Jadoul's unfinished puzzle, a connection may exist, waiting to be recognised.
For now, the opening remains.
